Got a 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton, or other GM pickup with a tired, sick, or broken engine? Chevrolet Performance has exactly what you need. Their 350 c.i.d. truck long block crate engines are built up from 1996-2002 style 4-bolt main blocks with one-piece rear main seals. To this, Chevrolet adds a nodular-iron crankshaft, powdered-metal connecting rods, and hypereutectic aluminum pistons.
You also get power-producing Vortec cylinder heads with 1.94 in. intake valves and 1.50 in. exhausts, and 64cc combustion chambers that yield a gas-pump friendly 9.4:1 compression ratio. This combination is paired up with a roller cam that has 0.414 in. of intake lift and 0.428 in. for the exhaust. Duration at 0.050 in. of lift is 191 degrees for the intake and 196 for the exhaust, with 111 degrees of lobe separation. These long block crate engines come complete with an oil pan, timing cover, valve covers, and harmonic balancer.
